If you know me well, you know I have a love affair with New Orleans. From the music and architecture to its vibrant and eclectic food scene. That’s why it was my pleasure to welcome New Orleans based food blogger, photographer, and recipe developer, Ben Goodly.

In this episode, Ben and I talk about classic southern recipes influenced by his upbringing in Alabama, the differences between Creole and Cajun cuisine, and some of his upcoming projects. He also serves up some of his favorite spots to dine in New Orleans. As a bonus, Ben offers his tips on making a great roux!

Learn more about Ben and check out his recipes through his blog foodislovemadeedible.com or by following him on Instagram and Twitter at @mrgoodlycooks.
